5/5! Absolutely love Foodland! This review is mainly for their Poke, but I'm sure their other offerings are good as well! The Hawaiian grocery store has tons of selections to choose from, from fresh seafood, hot food and snacks. I'd highly recommend stopping by if you see one and browsing the store. It's different from what you'll see in the states. I went here because it was recommended that the Poke was fresh and delicious here, and I was not disappointed. I went with the Spicy Salmon, Spicy Tuna and Shoyu Poke. Each Poke dish I had was delicious! From the freshness of the fish and the ingredients, it was definitely what I was expecting. And most of all, the flavor profiles were on point! All of the food was reasonably priced as well. Overall, 5/5! Highly recommend. Maybe order a side of rice to pair with your Poke as well. It'll be worth it.

Quick and prompt service. 4 stars if you want fast. The best standard is of course at Ala Moana. The three stars for this location is in comparison to Ala Moana. If you need something quick definitely go here if you are nearby.

$9 into the trash. It's been few times they sell (almost ) spoiled poke or imitation crab salad . I bought it early morning on my way home when I tried to eat it , it tasted disgusting and very SLIMY and blackend coulour. Last time my mom bought a half a pound of imitation crab it tasted weird. The store really need to be aware of keeping foods fresh. Especially when they are selling raw foods

I purchased groceries, and the male clerk says absolutely nothing to me. No hi, please, thank you, good night. He is completely silent. Then right behind me in line, a pretty young women buys groceries and he talks to her like he is her best friend. (I don't think the women really appreciated his attention however.) Then, as I leave the store, a security guard stops me and he and a manager search through all of my belongings because they think I am stealing. (I was carrying items I purchased from another store in my reusable shopping bags.) I had to show them all of my receipts. I have never encountered such stupid, rude, incompetent people in my life. If I could give them negative 5 stars, I would.

On the corners of Harding & Waialae Avenue you will find the Market City Shopping Center & Foodland Market. A busy center especially for Foodland with a steady flow of customers throughout the day. Best time to shop the there would be the early morning as the store opens open and prior to closing. It's not so big but you will find a full Deli department, Seafood department to include free cut meats from the Butcher's department. Parking can be limited at times especially during peak hours as people are also visiting other establishments and eateries there. Foodland thou own and operated locally has a very clean and organized environment with a friendly staff and the inventory is normally available & consistent I highly recommend to shopping there they normally have a sale with an ad showing what's available.

This is probably the best foodland I've been to due to the amazing poke section!! Seriously about 20 flavors to choose from including a couple I hadn't seen before, ahi tataki and smoked marlin. They also sell the poke made into poke bowls which isn't available at all foodlands. They had prepackaged salads to go which I don't remember seeing at other foodlands. Good selection of Hawaii snacks too.

This is my least fav foodland to go to. Parking is congested, the poke is off half the time (wrong flavor or super salty) and the manager is inattentive and down right ignored me standing there waiting for customer service. I do not recommend shopping here. I spent 5 mins wondering around the store looking for an item. He walked by me several times without as much as an acknowledgement.
